The Concept Of RFID

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), or radio frequency identification, is a wireless system that uses wireless radio frequency methods to non-contact and two-way transmit data between readers and radio frequency cards to achieve target identification and data exchange purposes. RFID is a non-contact automatic identification technology that automatically identifies target objects and obtains relevant data through radio frequency signals. Identification work requires no human intervention and can work in various harsh environments. RFID technology can identify high-speed moving objects and identify multiple tags simultaneously, making operation fast and convenient.
RFID is divided into low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF), ultra high frequency (UHF), and microwave (MW) according to the different application frequencies. The corresponding representative frequencies are: low frequency below 135KHz, high frequency 13.56MHz, ultra high frequency 860M~960MHz, and microwave 2.4GHz.
